Partnership working

Through the UK Vision Strategy, NBCS is part of a group working together to deliver Joint Initiatives for the blind and partially sighted children, young people and their families. This is bringing together the work of some of the major voluntary sector organisations : RNIB, Action for Blind People, National Blind Children’s Society, Guide Dogs, Royal London Society of Blind People and Sense.

The work includes Developing Outcomes for Children and Young People, Improving Emotional Support Services, a Buddying Project for Young People, Transition from Education to Adult Life, Campaiging for Children and Young People, Starting Point- a web site for parents with newly diagnosed babies, an Activities Calender and Safe Statistics.
