Rags to riches

Recent news stories have highlighted the activities of bogus collectors and thieves stealing bags of clothing left out by our supporters, to be picked up on designated days from doorsteps by our partners care2collect in branded bags.

Recycling unwanted clothes, other textiles, shoes and handbags is a major source of income for us.

As a result there has been a substantial increase in police surveillance resulting in many bogus collectors being prosecuted.

Many of our supporters are working together to gather bags in bulk – which results in considerably more revenue for us.
