Record breakers!

Guinness World Records has announced that the National Blind Children’s Society is one of the top 100 charities to benefit from Royal Mail’s payroll giving scheme.

Royal Mail now officially holds the world record for supporting the highest number of charities through the tax-effective scheme where employees sign up to have an amount of their choice deducted from their pre-tax pay.

This fantastic achievement highlights the value to charities of the scheme. About £45 million has been given by Royal Mail employees since starting the scheme 23 years ago. More than £2 million has been raised in the last year alone.

Many sign up to just a few pounds – even the smallest amount makes a big difference. You can join as an individual or promote the scheme as an employer.
